Will Walgreens transfer foreign tape formats to DVD?
Yes. PAL videotapes (the most common format in Europe) can be transferred to a DVD in NTSC format (United States).
Will the Walgreens DVD be compatible with my DVD player?
Walgreens DVDs will play in almost all standalone DVD players in use today. The DVD format is DVD-R.
Will the Walgreens Photo DVD run on my Macintosh computer?
Yes. The Walgreens DVD will run on your Macintosh computer.

Will Walgreens repair broken videotapes?
Yes. Walgreens will repair broken videotapes at no additional charge. This includes fixing broken tape as well as replacing broken tape cases.
Will my original materials be returned?
Yes. Your original videotapes, movie films, photos, slides, and/or negatives will be returned along with your new DVDs.
Will the quality of my footage be edited or enhanced?
For video to DVD orders, the service is strictly a transfer service. Footage will not be enhanced.
For film to DVD and slides to DVD orders, the footage and images will be enhanced, showing more vibrant colors and reduced scratches, dust and lint on the
film surface.
Can my original audio from film be transferred to DVD?
Yes. For Super 8 movie film with magnetic audio and on 16mm movie film with optical audio, Walgreens can transfer the original audio to the DVD.

Where will my order be sent for processing?
Orders will be sent to iMemories' state-of-the-art processing facilities located in Scottsdale, AZ.

Where can I place my DVD Transfer order?
To place your order, bring in your videotapes, movie films, photo prints, slides and/or negatives to any Walgreens, and place your order at Walgreens Photo.
What is the service time?
The transfer service takes approx. 3 weeks. For Customize Online orders, allow additional time (up to 30 days) to customize your DVDs.
Can I submit a video that was recorded by a professional videographer?
If you have a wedding video or similar video recorded by a professional, you must obtain their permission for Walgreens to transfer the footage to DVD. Submit a signed copyright waiver form with the order. Orders containing copyrighted materials, not accompanied with a signed copyright waiver form, will be returned unprocessed.
Where can I find a copyright waiver form?
Contact iMemories at copyright@imemories.com, and they will send you a copyright waiver form.
Can I transfer recorded TV shows to DVD?
No. Walgreens will not process copyrighted TV footage. If a videotape has a blend of home movies and TV footage, the TV footage will be removed, but, the home movie footage will be preserved.
May I include a personalized title for my DVD?
Yes! You may include a title, up to 35 characters in length.
Should I order extra DVD copies?
Yes. Additional DVD copies make great gifts for family and friends. Plus, having an additional set of DVDs as a back up provides additional protection against loss or damage.
Can I mix different videotape and movie film formats in the same order?
Yes. You can combine different videotape and movie film formats if you choose Customize Online. You can then combine home movie media types through your iMemories online account.
Mixing different home movie media types is not available if you choose Direct to DVD order type.
How much videotape footage will fit on a DVD?
Maximum of 2 hours of video will fit on a DVD.
How much movie film footage will fit on a DVD?
Maximum of 1,800 feet of 8mm or Super 8 movie film will fit on one DVD. Maximum of 3,200 feet of 16mm movie film will fit on a DVD.
How many photo prints, slides and/or negatives will fit on a DVD?
Up to 500 images will fit on a DVD.
How do I prepare my slides for processing?
No preparation is required. Just provide your slides in carousels, binders, trays and sheets.
What extra charges should I expect?
There are no hidden charges or add-on fees. Extra charges may apply if your video footage or images exceeded the maximum allowed per DVD (see limits above).
How do I indicate the viewing order of my media?
For Customize Online orders, there's no need to indicate viewing order. You can sort and arrange your videos and photos online.
For Direct to DVD orders, if a specific viewing order is desired, you need to label your videotapes, movie films, photo prints, slides and negatives in viewing order. Please use stickers or Post-It notes. If your media is not labeled, the media will be processed in random order.
Can I order more copies of my DVD after I've received it?
Yes. Additional DVD copies can be requested within 60 days of placing your order. DVD copies cost $9.99 per DVD.

My order was returned unprocessed. Why?
Unprocessed orders may be due to one of these reasons:
- We found possible copyrighted material without permission to process.
- We found illegal or obscene material and cannot process.
- Your media was not an accepted format.
- Your tape needed repair and we need your permission in order to proceed.
- The quality of the videotape or movie film was so poor that we could not process.

What is the best way to handle and care for DVDs?
While DVDs are durable and long-lasting by nature, proper handling and storage will maximize their longevity:
- Store them away from extreme heat, humid or cold temperatures.
- Keep them in their cases when not in use. This minimizes dust and scratches.
- Only touch them on the edges.
What is iMemories online viewing, sharing and editing?
iMemories stores your transferred video files on secure servers "in the cloud" so you can recover them in case your videos become damaged or misplaced. In addition to security, iMemories provides you with viewing, sharing, and editing for all your videos.
How can I edit my video?
You can edit your video through your private and secure iMemories account.
Log in to your iMemories account, click on the "Create" panel. From the iMemories Studio, you can sort your videos by dragging and dropping, update the titles of videotape or movie film, and each video clip, and trim and split video clips.
How can I share my video?
iMemories allows you to share your videos with your family and friends through e-mail, Web galleries, Facebook� or Twitter�. You can also order additional DVD copies of your videos and ship them to a personal address.
Log in to your iMemories and click on the "Watch" panel. From the iMemories Theater, you can view and share your videos with a few clicks.
How can I order additional DVD copies of my video?
You can request additional DVD copies of your videos at the time you place your original order. If you want additional DVD copies after your DVD Transfer order has been picked up, you can order them through your private and secure iMemories account.
If your video is not active on iMemories, you can order additional DVD copies by resubmitting a copy of the original DVD as a new order.
Note: DVDs which are resubmitted for duplication will be priced as a new order.
